Education Programme
Navgyan Tribal Empowerment and Rural Trust organized an Education Programme at Kairembikhok, Manipur, with the aim of promoting quality education, equal learning opportunities, skill development, and a brighter future for children and young learners.
The programme was led by Mrs. Sorojini Palmei, President of Navgyan Tribal Empowerment and Rural Trust, with the participation of Mr. Palmei Houthalung, Secretary, and Mr. Naorem Rabichandra Singh, Treasurer, along with educators, volunteers, students, and community members.
The programme focused on creating an engaging learning environment where children could strengthen their academic knowledge and develop confidence, creativity, leadership qualities, and essential skills. Activities included classroom learning, mathematics sessions, reading and library activities, guided study, and digital education through computer-based learning.
Special emphasis was placed on the importance of education as a pathway to opportunity and social development. Students were encouraged to read, learn, explore new ideas, and develop a positive attitude towards their future. The programme also promoted equal access to learning and encouraged children to become responsible and confident members of their communities.
Through initiatives such as this, Navgyan Tribal Empowerment and Rural Trust works to support education, skill development, and community empowerment, particularly by creating opportunities for children and young people to learn and grow.
