Food Distribution Programme
Navgyan Tribal Empowerment and Rural Trust organized a Food Distribution Programme at Kairembikhok, Manipur, with the message “Sharing Food, Spreading Hope” and the objective of extending community support to people in need.
The programme was led by Mrs. Sorojini Palmei, President of Navgyan Tribal Empowerment and Rural Trust, with the participation of Mr. Palmei Houthalung, Secretary, and Mr. Naorem Rabichandra Singh, Treasurer, along with volunteers and community members.
As part of the initiative, nutritious cooked meals and drinking water were distributed to local community members. The programme brought together children, elderly people, women, and other members of the local community, creating an opportunity to provide immediate food support while promoting compassion, dignity, and community solidarity.
The beneficiaries included children, elderly persons, women, and other local residents who participated in the food distribution. Special attention was given to ensuring that community members could receive meals in a respectful and organized manner.
